Spock is the name of a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise, invented by the series' writers, who followed a rule that Vulcan names must start with an S and end with a k. A 1985 tie-in novel gives his full name as S'chn T'gai Spock, with S'chn T'gai as the family name, also borne by his father S'chn T'gai Sarek.
